Our team consists of veterans safari guides with no less than a decade of work in multiple lodges/camps across Africa, career counsellors and therapists. Wether it be courses that help to develop the skills of teams, individual coaching with those who may be struggling with guest feedback or battling with mental health and the strains that can come with life in a lodge environment - our team is here to help!

Our team has realised, over extensive research and, in some cases, personal experience that the relentless nature of guiding, the emotional and mental strain of lengthly work cycles, can leave us
exhausted - even burnt out. Fatigue, also, is the favoured habitat for mental illness such as depression and anxiety disorders. Unchecked, these conditions can end catastrophically, and have done. Our team has helped many through varying levels of mental challenges from simply acknowledging their existence to treating severe depression.

This course focuses on the human side of guiding: communication, storytelling, emotional intelligence, reading guests, building anticipation, and transforming ordinary sightings into unforgettable moments. Guides learn how to manage energy inside the vehicle, communicate with confidence, handle difficult situations professionally, and create meaningful guest connections that improve reviews, tips, repeat business, and overall lodge reputation.

This course sharpens the technical side of guiding by focusing on ecology, animal behaviour, tracking, birding, ecosystem understanding, practical bush skills that are relevant to the area. The aim is to develop guides who can confidently explain not just what guests are seeing, but why it matters within the broader natural world.

This immersive trail experience reconnects guides with wilderness, with each other, and with themselves. Through walking safaris, wilderness sleep-outs, team exercises, reflective discussions, and practical mental resilience systems, guides develop stronger self-awareness, healthier coping mechanisms, and a renewed sense of purpose within the industry.
This experience has shown some to have remarkable effects on team dynamics and performance. We can supply equipment and food. Most 'courses' are done on the site where the guides work and during off-season times.
